How it all began....
It was January 1st, 2011 when I had a real Aha Moment. I figured, "New Year, new idea." When most were doing that New Years resolution thing, it all suddenly came together for me. For five months, friends said I was “MIA”, because I couldn’t stop working to create Kiddos. I was hooked; hooked on offering a new choice, a fun place to play, letting kids make some decisions, hiring employees who were energetic role models, having Fridays that were real events, and showing that after school doesn’t have to be a taboo place to send your child.
Summer 2011 was our first day of camp season and we grew from 25 to 70 Kiddos in 3 weeks! Then came an awesome first after-school year with our Kiddos at E. Rivers Elementary. We continued to grow with an amazing group of team members. Each summer and school year became better than the last!
Fast forward to Now... We have 3 After School Programs including E. Rivers, Atlanta Classical, and Garden Hills; We also were voted BEST SUMMER CAMP in Atlanta in the Totally Awesome Awards for Red Tricycle and BEST AFTERSCHOOL By Buckhaven! As we continue to grow, keeping 'The Kiddos Way' alive requires an AMAZING team, or as we have a "Framily." Luckily, I have four of the best people I know leading Kiddos in to the new year!
We kept hearing parents saying they wish we had something for their little kiddos. We listened to our community and we will be opening Kiddos Early Learning Center in January 2024!
The Kiddos team leaders are a group of extraordinary people who work with me to provide a caring, high energy, well organized, and over the top program! Ms. Chay has been with us since 2016 and is now overseeing all afterschool and summer camp directors and programs! Ms. Kedra is nothing short of magic, her ability to read kids and give them the confidence they need is unlike anything I have seen. Ms. Becca has been at E. Rivers since she started with us and her creativity, ability to solve any situation and keep the Kiddos Way thriving! I know you will love these people just as I do. Ms. Raquel is not only a mother of four with a passion for all kiddos but also a master multitasker and problem solver. I have always been that kid who wants to do it better than the last time, so I am excited to have you join us this Year-- but I really can’t wait to show you what the Kiddos Framily has in store for! Some might say I am crazy (in fact many do). BUT I am confident it’s a good crazy, the kind that’s fun, full of energy, very caring and equally detail obsessed!

MEET THE KIDDOS LEADERS
Our kiddos call her Excel and she is the Creater and Operator of Kiddos. Lara attended Morris Brandon, Sutton, North Atlanta and received a BBA from Georgia State. Growing up in Atlanta as a camper, after schooler and eventually a counselor, teacher, mentor, director and creater, Kiddos is her way of impacting the community that has raised her.

Ms. Becca has been with Kiddos since 2016 and has worked her way up at our E. Rivers location as Teacher, Lead, Assistant Director and as of 2022 Director. Her creativity, attention to detail and love of our kiddos is why your child will beg to stay a little later each day :)

Our kiddos call her Cornbread! Miss Chay has been with kiddos since 2016 and fully embraces and loves Kiddos Culture and will oversee that all our our Afterschool Programs are top notch! She is the voice on the other end of the office phone making sure our families are well taken care of, our Directors are supported and our kiddos having a GREAT time!

Ms. Kedra joined our team in 2016 and immediately made Kiddos better! By taking the Kiddos atmosphere and using it to make sure we can immerse and engage ALL kiddos into the fun! Her ability to help kiddos is best described as magical. Her experience as mom of 3, inclusion coordinator at Kiddos camp, lead teacher at Garden Hills, and Assistant Director at E. Rivers have prepared her for her role as Director at Garden Hills!

Our kiddos call her Storm! Raquel first started with us in 2019 right before COVID. We knew immediately she was someone who should be in leadership at Kiddos. For the last few years we have used her to help with ourtemporary COVID-19 piedmont hospital programs and later to help kickstart off 2021 School year! She has four kids, love all kinds of activities and can't wait to get to know all our kiddos and families. Raquel brings the energy, patience and care to ACA as Director and makes sure Kiddos @ ACA is top notch!

The kiddos call her Pepto and she has been with Kiddos since we opened in 2011 starting as a Counselor in Training to Counselor to Teacher to Lead and now to Assistant Director. Her genuine love of our kiddos, the dedication to her job and her ability to jump in and help anywhere make her a rockstar to work with, and among the kiddos!

Our kiddos call her Sassy and she has been with Kiddos since she was a Counselor in Training and eventually a high school helper. She not only helps the behind the scenes of Kiddos organized but she is also the lead teacher of Kiddos @ Garden Hills. Sophie has a way of keeping us all organized, being thoughtful and keeping our kiddos having fun!
